I have been away from the game for a few years but 8th has caught my eye and I am thinking about jumping back in. I like the idea of black guardians, my question is will unit carry over into 8th? I have thought about building some to have ready but I don't want to jump the gun and spend the time and money if they aren't going to be in the new edition. One other thing I just thought of, will they be exclusive to Ulthwe? If I painted them as biel-tan; is that an issue? Like I said I have been away for a few years. Thanks for any help

Black Guardians are gone again, we're going to have to wait till the Eldar get their codex, and maybe then we'll see the return of Black Guardians, till then their Guardians.

really? they introduced a unit only to take it away within 4 months? thats lame

They've become a bit lame anyway. Someone decided that Guardians should become BS/WS 4...and thus the advantage of Black Guardians took a kick in the balls.

Irritated with this. I just added BGs due to the webway strike fluff, but gone again within a few months. Definitely piss poor.

Won't there be a <CRAFTWORLD> keyword that would reflect the differences between Guardians?
