So heres what I have so far

1x captain in termie
1x librarian in termie

5xassault marines
5x death company jetpacks
5x death company in razorback
20x tactical marines
1x predator triple las
1x vindicator
1x baal predator
1x land raider vanilla
1x land raider crusader
2x furioso dreads

I dont even know if this can make any form a legal list coz you cant buy the codex anymore :(

Is this enough for some 1500 lists?

Your tacs and captain are basically a legal list on their own. It's more than enough for 1500 points. You can make that into well over 2000.

But the question is, are the lists going to be any good I just buy models that I like with little consideration to being able to field them in a game lol

For that you will need to play them out in order to optimize the list or wait for the competitive BA players to create an optimal list and work from there.

Personally I'd play the gak out of that list and optimize within it.

With 1 detachment sure. With multiple detachment points are limits.

Are we talking btw 7th or 8th ed? 8th and seems that could fit to spearhead detachment. 1-2 HQ, 0-3 troops, 0-2 elites(okay here all don't fit), 0-2 FA and 3-6 heavy support.

Alternatively split tacs to 5 man squads and you could have batallion+patrol. Or get 1 more HQ and battalion(2 HQ, 3 troops minimum) and spearhead for HQ+3-6 heavy support is possible.

In 8th ed you can basically spam any choice except dedicated transport almost as freely as points allow. How much of tax you pay depends on HQ prices

Do I need more troops? Like I have a lot of armor, how does other peoples lists go?

In 7th? No.
In 8th? Maybe.

Yeah it's hard to tell. Troops certainly are cheaper and transports have been made better, so it might work out to have troops. That said, armour seems a LOT tougher and actually seem worth taking if you have/want lots.

If by Troops you mean Assault or Death Company with JP, then yes...
