So in the hopes of kicking off a 40k campaign to celebrate the new edition, I made a Planetary Empires centerpiece tile: the mega-hive city Kasthanas! Wish me luck in corrupting it for the dark gods.

We've previously eschewed the Planetary Empire rules for a simpler Dawn of War style system: on your turn, you can advance on tile, you fight whoever's in that tile. Winner usually gets to add a Warlord Trait or Chaos Boon to their warlord, or some similar upgrade. And, of course, big custom scenarios for attacking HQ tiles

Nice to see some love for PE. A very underrated modeling/ campaign aid. Good use of BFG bits and some 40k sanctum imperialis parts.
