Don't have any more Black Knights as I know this would be the first suggestion If I get more I would replace the 4 strong plasma squad with 3 more black knights to have 2 units of 4.

I do realize that I will have to separate this into 2 Outrider Detachments

Might want to include a Dark talon as well. The Rift Cannon can work over some units really and the stasis bomb can demolish smaller hordes with a good roll. I played a couple of games over the weekend and it earned its points each game and then some.

I'm also wondering if i should take small units of gun bikes (2 meltas or 2 plasmas in there with the sgt), and then one unit of 5 bikes with 2 flamers, the rest with chainswords. makes a nice sencondary assault unit alongside the Black Knights.

More plasma is always advisable.

I'll have to recheck my list as I definitely have a few points wrong...back to the drawing board!

I would consider dropping the Ancient. Your list has so few close combat models so what is he really going to give you for the points?

Agreed on this. Might aswell switch it for an apothecary

Consider double heavy flamer land speeders if you've got the plastic.

I've played 3 games with ravenwing and the two units that have not failed to carry their weight are the dark talon and sammy. I've had good results with the army as a whole, but some units that used to be autoinclude may not be so anymore, in particular the darkshroud. It can be focused down so much more easily. But all of my lists going forward will at least include one or both, Sammy and/or one or multiple dark talons

I still like the Dark Shroud, I think its utility will hold up further down the road. However, mixed results on its usefulness. Dark Talon though, could not agree more. Go Go Gadget Rift Cannon.

need to pick up a dark talon at some point. Initially I wondered why people weren't hot on the Nephilim....the back of the index states Avenger Mega bolter Heavy 10 and Blacksword missiles heavy 10.....lol.

I do plan to have the darkshroud close by the Black knights, Sammy and apothecary. I'm also bumping the knights to 6 models. The only thing I can't seem to decide on is my regular bike units. One for sure will be 2 meltas, and I have 2 plasma models built, but still have another pair which I can't deice between more plasma, melta or maybe flamers. Thought maybe a large unit with 2 flamers and chainswords could be useful vs hordes.

I mainly had meltas in my 7th edition list but it depends on what your facing against hordes Flanders are the best but mech and elite lists melts or plasma can't steer you wrong also consider with your black Knights you already have a lot of plasma so go with either melta for tank poppers or MC blasters, or Flanders for more wound chances on infantry
