Looking at the Dark Imperium starter box the first model which caught my eye was the Inceptor squads.
They look like more gundam-ish than the generic space marines but I really like the model and want to start a small army when I can.

Now, I'm having a hard time deciding on which Chapter to paint them as.
I'd like to follow one of the current chapters (no generic or made up ones) and also try to follow the fluff for the chapter.

If I was to base my army around jump pack marines and Inceptor squads or just Inceptor squads, which Chapter would fit them best?

The first Chapter that came up to my mind were Raven Guard but I don't think the Primaris will fit the Raven Guard fluff (starting with the difference in the Power Armor...).

Are there any other chapters which have notable Assault Squad/Marines or chapter that are known to utilize / focus on Jump Pack marines?

Blood Angels (and their successors) have a noted fondness for Jump Packs.

Space Wolves on the other hand aren't keen on them.

The first ones that come to my mind are the Flesh Eaters chapter.

They have been part of the story since 2nd Edition but have never been too mainstream so you won't have the same army as everyone else.

Also they are not 'goody two-shoes' like a lot of marines, so you will have a lot more fun collecting them than some more generic chapters like the Ultramarines :-p

Roboute is even deliberately rebuilding the Blood Angels and their successors so you have a good excuse for them getting Primaris marines. However, there are still good excuses for tensions between the normal marines who indulge the excesses of the Red Thirst and the more uptight new Primaris recruits.

There's also Raven Guard, who are particularly noted to use Jump Packs as well (due to the whole raven motif). Of the successor Chapters, there's the Raptors (one guess who they're a successor of), Doom Eagles and Black Dragons.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Power armor wont matter, the Ravens would just train them on how to move silently in the larger War Plate.
