Ok so I wonder if orcs will reproduce the same way in this edition? My army is based on the old way so if they change that I'm screwed.

Who knows? They did a lot of crazy stuff this edition. If they can all of a sudden create super men space marines whos to say orc cant reproduce like humans?

My force has a very spore heavy theme. You see my orcs was half born, not entirely developed due to high radiation, so their skin is mushy and light green. If they invalidate the spore element how am i supposed to explain this?

Any way you want at all? Played too long with Plasma cores. Lived on a planet with a mushifying virus that grew in the trees. They all bathe in a light green lake. They drink lightstick fluid.

But still, the bighead who made the orks are gone, if the big head made new orks maybe, but if it's just bigger orks because they are older there will be no change on that.
You are worrying on nothing, because it's not gonna change. And even if it changed, who cares, paint your minis as you like to paint them.

Very good ideas but I'm obsessed with the orc reproduction cycle and I want to represent it through my army.

Well, you will almost completely certainly be able to do that. There is literally no reason that lore would change. The SM lore changed so that they could shoehorn a new unit in. If anything, being able to grow Orks is very helpful to explain new units, so it will not go away.

your models your rules. if they retcon them for some odd reason (i see no reason that they would) and there are ork mothers at home while the ladz go fight wars just say due to a mutation yours are grown via spores and are all clones of past orks just spreading through the galaxy or something.

But would they be "official"? Couldn't GW come to my gaming table and say "Sure, you can play with them as orks, but they aren't our orks, and thusly not real orks."

That would be devastating to me. Imagine being shamed like that in front of a group of likeminded gamers.

I'm just gonna assume this is a troll post at this point. GW isn't in the business of walking up to people at tables to shame their armies.

Look at his other threads. It's pretty blatant that he's just a troll.

The Tick: Everybody was a baby once, Arthur. Oh, sure, maybe not today, or even yesterday. But once. Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception.

Orks multiply when they are exposed to water, though the initial spawn are covered in hair and relatively docile. It is only when they consume biomass after the solar cycle of a planet has passed that they fully metamorph into their adult versions.

Goddamnit, I KNEW someone would make that reference.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

Well, at least he's not obsessed with SM getting it on with the babes and their reproduction/naked-sexy-fun-times ...

Not that it's that much of an improvement.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

If someone wants to have the incredibly homoerotic Space Marines having sex in their mind, it isn't my issue.
