Besides Belakor and Abaddon, I don't see any other Characters that can be unmarked. All other Daemon characters are clearly aligned and all CSM characters I've seen have <Mark of Chaos>
If I am reading correctly, <Mark of Chaos> is not optional and any model with this keyword MUST choose a Chaos power to replace that keyword.

GW really doesn't seem to want Chaos Undivided to be a thing anymore.

Check the rules on Marks of Chaos. You're allowed to not choose a Mark. Third paragraph.

I should have kept reading. It's weird that it says "must choose" when it really means "may choose"

Well, just so this thread has some further purpose: Which Characters are the best for Summoning?
I know that Summoning is extremely nerfed in Matched Play, but I'd like to explore the possibilities.
Especially since many units can take Instruments for +1 charge

Fabius Bile is unmarked I believe. So is Huron Blackheart.

At least from a lore perspective they were.

You want cheap non combat characters who don't mind hanging back.
Fabius is a good shout, also the dark apostle, sorcerors or the new Nurgle support characters.
For daemons heralds sound good, or a well positioned exalted flamer.
I think belakor would work, but has a bit expensive to hang back.

Abaddon is unaligned to a particular god by having all marks with no plans for Daemonhood. Fabius Bile just cares about his research and Huron Blackheart is too busy being a pirate. Iron Warriors, Night Lords, and Alpha Legion all dislike the Ruinous Powers, so any character you make up for them would care less about choosing a god. Word Bearers are with all 4.

Perturabo is same as his legion, a Daemon Prince who could care less about the god; Lorgar, also following suit with his legion, is the opposite. He's fanatical about ALL gods.

Be'lakor is probably the most powerful unaligned daemon, but he's currently trapped to make Abaddon's sword.

I assume Belakor is getting confused with DrachNyen.

Belakor did get trapped in a gem during the warhammer fantasy end times, but I'm not sure that counts.

Huron Blackheart for sure.i believe Fabius as well. And of course any of the traitor primarchs not strictly dedicated to one of the 4 gods, so everyone but World Eaters, Death Guard, Thousand Sons, and Emperor's Children primarchs.

Lord Arkos is not a bad summoner.
He can be deployed anywhere outside 12", so doesn't need to move T1 and can be in a good position. He's undivided.. so can summon anything. He gives his warband +1 To charge as well.

Only problem is if you go second.. only other infiltrator is nurglings.
