Background:

The Blood Angels and Ad Mech don't trust each other. And The BAs would never deploy the Death Company in an allied force.

The Dark Angels don't play well with others.

Iron Hands would work well.

Rules:

I'd make your own and use which ever rules appeal to you.

So the choice is emo goth traitors or effeminate vampires, I'd go with option three badass hairy werewolves its the only real choice.

Hmm.. I'm leaning DA as I like the cloaks and robes for the DAs, but I'm worried that deep striking footslogger knights are never going to make it into combat.

@Crimson Devil's suggestion, how heavily enforced is the rule that you can't take characters for original chapters?

Depends on the group you play with. Mine has no problem if I use BA Characters in my Successor Army. The key thing to remember is never build your army to take advantage of the current rules set. The rules change enough to make it a fool's errand. The codexes are coming and we have no idea how they will change the meta. Build the army you want to see on the table.

Or become good with magnets.

That's what Land Raiders are for!

The whole space varmpire thing seemms a little too 1980s. Plus, if you play both DA and CSM, you can always use each other for proxy models if you're short something because clearly they're all heretics.

DA look baller with their ice cream paint job Terminator armor. BA just sparkle in the sunlight.

Robes, cloaks, and emo self-loathing makes a case for itself

But yeah, that slow 5" swagger. Is there anything that can get them there besides LRs? Hate the model.

Vigo. Spain.

Did you like plate nipples? Because BA is how you get pattle nipples.

Robes all the way, bro.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.
