GW just lost a returning veteran in me it seems.
I'd ask if there is a replacement anywhere that isn't total garbage like Battlescribe but at this point I'm refusing to support them anymore.

They're within their right to do this, to protect their IP, and they didn't do anything like sue the guy, they just asked him to take it down. I expected it was only a matter of time before it happened, just gotta wait for an official one or use Battlescribe.

If it was just a profit-free listbuilder they wouldn't have done abything probably but artwork is a big risk.

It was probably to protect their IP, just like Blizzard does with vanilla WoW servers. If they leave it up for too long, there can probably be some case made against Blizzard. (Law isn't my expertise, and I'm sure someone could explain better as to why companies have to do it to protect their IP)
And GW didn't even pursue legal action like suing the guy or anything, so it's not like they were super aggressive about it and are going for every penny he owns.

Does GW provide a tool to build lists? No
Was the ListBuilder for Profit? No
The result is that i have now to write with pen and paper and much discomfort , so yes GW is being a dick because it forced to take down a useful tool without providing any alternative and pissing off an awful lot of people. Just when I started thinking they learnt their lessons....
