Hi I am going to be sealing my model with this for the first time. How long should I let my model dry out before using purity seal once done final painting? Does it protect against scratches and chips? The way I glues my Ta'unar the arm shoulder is contacting the body and it's causing regular chipping in that spot now that it's been painted.

Also this was my first time magnetizing and I have a problem. When I swap weapons it chips as the two pieces are exchanged. What do I do to stop this?

Put a few coats down where the constant chipping is occuring, I usually use about 4 coats of ardcoat and lahmian medium where i know there will be lots of wear. then a clear varnish layer just an hour or so after you finish painting should be fine. test out the varnish/seal first to check the correct distance as it can cause a dusty white substance if too far or running if too close. thin coats as lord duncan says

So I can do this as soon as I am done painting like 10 mins later for example? Or should I give it a day?

Id let it dry completely especially if the last coat was a wash or a slow drying glaze give it an hour or so. Id say make sure its fully dry before coating it i wouldnt wait a whole day unless it was some seriously thin paint with a drying retarder etc.
