Oh noes, the Looted wagon is missing from the Ork entries in the Index. Ugh. This is like a staple for orks. They did this in the last edition and then brought it back in White Dwarf. Do you think it will come out later or in the Codex?

The FW Index Xenos book has so many highly customizable vehicles to choose from with or without transport capacity that it's actually hard to find a looted wagon that doesn't work for SOMETHING.
My Vindicator covered in orks is now perfectly happy in its new life as a Big Trakk with Kilkannon (nearly identical statline, very similar guns, etc).
Between the Trukk, Big Trakk, Battlewagon (including the Supa Kannon Variant), Kill Tank, Chinork Warkopta (for looted skimmers), and warbuggy/wartrakk profiles you can pretty much make anything you want.
The Big Trakk in particular is perfect for simulating looted versions of almost all imperial vehicles, because its toughness profile is pretty similar to an orky version of the rhino/chimera chassis (less toughness/Sv, more wounds). Looted Basilisk? Big Trakk with Supa-Kannon. Looted Lascannon/Heavy Bolter predator? Big Trakk with Big Zappa+2x Big Shoota. Looted Hellhound? Big Trakk with Supa-Scorcha and Big Shoota.

So I can take my looted Wagon Rhinos that I have usd for years and call them Big Trakks and use their profile? Automatically Appended Next Post: G00fySmiley wrote:the actualy gw response so far was to run them as counts as for vehiles in the xenos 2 and FW xenos book.
Thanks. Where was this response?

If they're Rhinos and you're primarily using them to transport units, you might want to go for trukks over big trakks just because the points cost of the big trakk puts it more in line with a Predator/Leman Russ/Chimera Chassis tank rather than a basic transport. (trukk is like 60-70 points base vs a rhino's 70-80 while a big trakk is in the neighborhood of 140 base).
