No, Red Scorpions are basically space marine nazis.

Shameless copy from 40k wiki:

'"There is no greater transgression than to betray the Emperor's will; for a normal man there may be atonement for such a sin in death, but for a member of the Astartes, even the grave cannot hold suffering enough to pay for this crime."
— Lord High Commander Carab Culln

The Loyalist Red Scorpions Chapter of Space Marines is known to be composed of conservative Imperial purists who are famed for their complete and utter devotion to Imperial doctrine, past the point where pragmatism or even reason would seem to require otherwise. The Chapter is most renowned among other Astartes for their absolute adherence to every line of the Codex Astartes, which is unheard of in any other Chapter -- including the Ultramarines. Their recorded history extends across five millennia, but there are numerous indications that it may extend further than that. Due to their history of conflict with the Forces of Chaos, they refuse to deal with any xenos species or any humans that they consider as tainted by mutation of any kind, even Imperially-sanctioned Abhumans like the Ogryns or Ratlings. They will obviously not serve with Beastmen, but they also utterly refuse to serve with the few remaining Squats. Equally unique in nature is the frequency with which the Red Scorpions' Apothecaries are present in the Chapter's Tactical Squads as squad leaders in place of a Sergeant.'

As far as "cleanse the impure" mentality goes amongst loyalist chapters. Red Scorpions are definitely top contenders.

Remember kiddies: The Girls(tm) have actually talked to the Emperor. He actually intervenes in the conflicts that they're involved with....when is the last time you can remember a miraculous intervention for Astartes in trouble?

Any time Draigo, the Sanquinor, or the Legion of the Damned show up anywhere.

Those are characters showing up - not intervention by the Emperor. Act of Faiths bitches - Acts of Faith.

Who do you think brings them there? Draigo lives in the warp. The Sanguinor is an Emperor's deamon, and the Legion of the Damned are possessed by the Emperor's daemons as much as Celestine is.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Do you think that RS would oppose taking in/adapting Primaris Marines?

no, as a cannon chapter I suspect they'll have them

hypocritically the space wolves. they hate sorcerers (poor magnus) and will claim all day their rune priests are somehow channeling the power of their home planet and not the warp. the sons of russ were the emperor's executioners and were the biggest critics of the libraries during the days leading up to the HH.

if you are a psyche they want to destroy you, if you are not yet part of the imperium they want to destroy you unless you will join. if you have joined the imperium and are nto loyal enough they also want to purge you.

The Sanguinor is technically an Astartes. We even know the identity of the original Sanguinor, and he might even still be the same person.

Who is he? Honest curiosity, I have never read about that.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Funny how Russ is constantly accused of this hypocricy but Corax and Rogal Dorn aren't.
Russ believed Magnus stuffing about with the Warp to be responsible for both the Flesh Change and the Wulfen.

Russ' logic.
Shaman have been doing their thing on Fenris forever and nothing beyond well timed storms has ever happened.

Magnus the Gaint Red Freak has been stuffing about with the Warp the most and his Legion are changing to Hellspawn.

AFTER meeting Magnus the Giant Red Freak some Space Wolves are changing to Hellspawn.

To Russ clearly this is Magnus the Giant Red Freak's fault.

Emperor wants to put Magnus in charge of more meddling in the Warp and call them Librarians.

This is wrong but how to convince the Emperor that Magnus is an unstable idiot when I don't fully understand what he is doing.

Bring along the closest thing he has to expain the differences.

Magnus does everything he can to prove they're both the same and without Flesh Changed marines or a way of proving the Wulfen are Magnus' fault Russ chooses to argue against the Librarian project in general.

Magnus does everything he can to make it seem like Russ is a superstitious barbarian and a hypocrite so his arguments hold less value.

End result Librarius is voted a go ahead Dorn and Corax relent and send psykers off to the program.
Russ continues to believe Magnus and his studies are dangerous and keeps going with the "safer" shaman practices of Fenris. Nothing hypocritical about it.

Interesting side-note is that Russ is a latent psyker himself but has worked with the Sisters of Silence without the usual psyker proximity issues of headaches and discomfort.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

Yes, but unlike Russ, those two didn't aren't famous for attacking a planet of sorcerers and putting it to the torch. So he gets more flak for it.

Pretty sure he purged them for being traitors rather than being psykers.

If you want real ammo for Space Wolves hypocricy ask a Grey Knights player about the cause of the "Months of Shame" and then look at 30k Space Wolves.
Because innocents were always spared the Space Wolves' fury.

Dorn and Corax, last I checked also didn't have their own pet psykers while screamiong how bad psykers where, Russ was eaither an idiot (for not knowing what rune priests where) or a hypocrite. Russ never argued, "ya know, Librarians need some controls on them to ensure they avoid the risks inheriant in the powers" it was simply "PSYKERS BAD!.... but rune preists are ok!"

Where did you see that? Corax literally had Psychic abilities.... that he kept hidden so that he would start conflict with his bros.

Personally a fan of the red scorpions for this. So obsessed with their own purity that they hate working with anyone else and will gladly purge anything that shows the slightest sign of taint.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.
