So, what's the next army that GW should/will put out? I'm thinking probably Codex: Blood Ravens and Codex: White Scars. Both of them are so unique, and really need separate codexes.

They really don't. They are both codex-compliant chapters.

Next after Primaris is Death Guard and then some stuff we've "never seen before" (quote from GW for the new edition).

We have already seen

Codex : Deathguard
Codex : Adeptus Astartes - Space Marnes
Codex : Heretic Astartes

This will be the first 3 to be released.

A Song of Ice and Fire - House Greyjoy.
AoS - Maggotkin of Nurgle, Ossiarch Bonereapers & Seraphon.
Bloodbowl - Lizardmen.
Horus Heresy - World Eaters.
Marvel Crisis Protocol - Avengers, Brotherhood of Mutants & Cabal.
Middle Earth Strategy Battle game - Rivendell & The Easterlings.
The Ninth Age - Beast Herds & Highborn Elves.
Warhammer 40k  - Tyranids.

Oh, all right. I get it.
It's another whine thread because the first 4 codices are power-armoured stuff.

We've seen salamanders before. Not a Codex for them, maybe, but they're not something I'd describe as never having seen before... dark mechanicus, on the other hand...

Also at some point this year one more big AoS army is releasing. Many of the unsolved rumour pictures are thought to be for the new cthulhu elves in AoS.

I suspect that is just around the corner.

They said ~10 codex before Christmas, so that's about 2 per month. We know what the next 4 are, so that should bring us to mid/end September.
There is a BL novel coming in October, focused around Ynnari. So Aeldari stuff could get released around the same time. They'll have to release Codex: Ynnari after the other aeldari codex, because of the way the army is built, so we might get the 4 Aeldari codex pretty quickly.

They mentioned a new faction for 8th edition, that would be released quickly, if memory serves. If they meant a real new faction (and not just something like Death Guard), then it should be one of this year's releases. My guess it early December, so people can buy the new army for Christmas.

So basically, I think the 10 codex this year are: the ones they announced, the 4 Aeldari, the new faction, and one or two additional ones.

Codex: Sisters of Battle are the obvious one. it boggles my mind how they haven't released an army you could make pretty much perfectly with 5 kits and a clampack (10-lady sisters of battle box including heavy and special weapons and numerous heads to make all the troop variants, Repentia with new weapon swap, penitent engine with new weapon swap, Exorcist kit with new weapon swap, Seraphim with new weapon swap, clampack canoness) has not been made into a mini-faction when we've already had releases for factions as niche as Harlequins, Thousand Sons, and Genestealer Cults. I get the refrain that "but muh nobody plays sisters release moar space marine codexes!" but do you really think the existing sisters fanbase is coming from a smaller starting point than the existing Genestealer Cult fanbase?

Beyond that, what I would like to see: Tau Auxilia mini-faction including rules to use the Steampunk Dwarves in 40k as Demiurg, Lizardmen as an army from the same planet as Sslyth, Skaven and some new alien forces+Expanded Kroot and Vespid. I think that'd be awesome, and they've already shown they like releasing kits that can be used in both games with the Tzaangors+Horrors for tzeentch.

What we will actually see: Black Templars probably. I dunno. What boring-ass marine faction haven't we seen yet? Probably that. Rainbow Warriors codex. Howling Griffons codex.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"
