Can a Space Marines psyker cast Veil of Time on an Adeptus Astartes unit?

Grey Knights, Blood Angels, Space Wolves, Dark Angels, all have the Adeptus Astartes keyword in their faction.

Can they receive the Veil of Time buff?

I don't have access to the relevant rules, but I believe that the answer lies in the first sentence of your query.

I mis-typed my query. It was an early day for me Hopefully now the question makes more sense.

It specifies only Adeptus Astartes for the target, so yeah.

Keep in mind though you need the librarian to not be from the blood angels, space wolves (I know this isn't called a librarian anyway), or grey knights chapter to do it, as they take powers from their respective psychic tables.

Right; this is in line with my understanding.

I'm not sure it's even worth it, since the Librarius discipline is garbage, and there are cheaper ways to get reroll charge. Negating invlunerables could be good, but getting that into combat and making it happen are two totally different things.

Just a thought I had.

Might of Heroes is really good on a GK Dreadknight, 'naught, or Draigo. It's worth it.
And GK doesn't have much access to re-roll charges (or to Quicksilver), so VoT is also pretty good. I've been having much success myself with a Vanilla Biker Libby.

I could see might of heroes really helping a Dreadknight. Jumping from T6 to T7 is very significant in this edition.

I just don't know how i'd fit this in there. Is it really worth the points? I've found, maybe i'm unlucky, that gambling on a 9" charge is a mistake, even with the reroll.

Also, I question how "useless" the discipline is when I know it has, literally, won at least one game on live TV already.

(For those that missed it, during the First Blood series on Twitch, there was a Marines vs. GSC mission which came down to a Captain escaping the board on the last turn. The librarian managed to cast VoT on the captain before being pulled down, but it lasted long enough for him to fight free of the cultists pinning him in combat and make good his escape securing sufficient VPs to tip the marine player over int victory from a loss)
