So when are we getting transports for the mechanicus? Forgeworlds had some for a while now. but poor mechanicus that took soo long to get a codex in the first place only got half a codex with no transports and limited HQ options.... when is GW going to fix this.

also have i missed any other faction that can tranport Mechanicus models? i know marines and astra militarium can't.

Honestly I don't think GW will give them transports if their original release is an indication. At least not anytime soon. Mechanicus feels like a cash grab on what I think GW feels is a novelty. If they they cared about the army they wouldn't have nerfed them as much as they did. Which is a shame as the models and fluff are wonderful.

If Games Workshop is motivated by cash grabs then why would they not release a model that nearly every person with a Mechanicus Army would buy at least two of. Half the work is already done, they just need to make a transport body sprue and add it to the Onager legs sprue. Lack of a transport is the one thing nearly every Mechanicus player see's as the major weakness to the army and providing one would not make them overpowered.

The coming 40k rules from Forge World may make the Triaros Armoured Conveyer usable but I would much prefer an Onager based model.

hell they don't even have to do that, Forgeworld has some, just throw those in the normal codex.

Rules for the Triaros Armored Conveyor will be in Fires Of Cyraxus, which is scheduled for release immediately after humanity makes contact with aliens in real life.
