Hey everyone,
We're running a little KS to expand the popular Burrows & Badgers range, if you fancy a look:

More pics on the KS page, obviously! But I'll add more here soon.

cheers
Michael

...And its all of 40 pounds from funding. Pretty much on my "always back" list, enjoyed the last three I got.

My wallet is already screaming with Historicon this weekend, may as well start the bleeding early :-)

Anyone who has never bought any Oathsworn B&B minis can be rest assured that they are really high quality. Minimal flash and mould lines, crisp detail and an absolute pleasure to paint.

I would be first to second that opinion a week ago. But right now on my painting spot sit three BnB models with irreparable mould lines across a very detailed surface. First time in my experience with Oathsworn miniatures.

Still, I may back this, although the main pledge level is too mish-mashed and individual pricing is no longer attractive.

Painting progress tracker:
2017: 50 of 50 planned; 2018: 80 of 60 planned; 2019: 75 of 75 planned

Pledge 2020:
6 to sculpt, 75 to paint (2/57 done)

Thanks Vejut and Pete! Much appreciated!

Wirecat, in all seriousness, if there's a problem, let us know! We'll happily replace models if they're no good - you can send them back to us, and we'll cover the postage, and send you replacements straight out.

OK, some more piccies:

And a teaser for some bonus bits:

After reading today's updates, if you're still determined to do a pseudo Skeksis, a flightless bird would be the way to go. Something like an ostrich I think would work quite well.

Barzam, an ostrich would be great for it, but unfortunately it would be too big for the range - badger size is about the maximum we can go to, game-wise...
Although I am tempted to sculpt a bunch of weird Skesis-like creatures just as a separate project, just for fun!

Well, the projects going good - we've now included a B&B coin with every pledge, and part one of the step-by-step 'raven sculpting' update is now done:

Dumb thought: what about a kiwi or kakapo? Think they're small enough. Admittedly, probably be a bit too fluffy...

If you are wanting NZ birds then I would recommend the Kea, vicious thieving little buggers so probably quite fitting!

Looking good so far Oathsworn, interested to see what the last three days bring.

Cheers! I've made a note of the names...

Anyway, the second part of the sculpting step-by-step is now up, if you fancy a look at how I torture putty: Sculpting link

And here's a couple more piccies!

Don't suppose there is a bundle for those of us who missed the first project? I barely paint, but I definitely collect figures still.

WHAT?! Your models - and no good!? They ARE good! Just not perfect... I admit, after the first minis from Oathsworn I fell so much in love with them that meeting even little defects that can't be casually filed away almost sent me into depression.

I love her all the way to the poisoned tip of her dagger... but I will always remember there is that dreadful mould slip! Even if no one will ever notice anything.

So, no replacement is needed, just a bit more QC (quality control), please. And, regarding this new Kickstarter - I really miss "old times" with additional pledge levels like "all big critters" and "all small critters". I realize the convenience of just "pick and choose" and "all in" from casting, packing and shipping side of things, but as an end customer...

Thanks Robert! I want to do a unit of them now...

I'm sure we can sort out some kind of deal - but there's been four B&B projects so far, so there's 72 minis now... is it a particular project you were thinking of?

Cheers - I love sculpting them! Although I need to get back to sculpting a few humans soon, before I forgot how...

It's my fault, TBH... I should've sculpted a more even mix between big and little; when it came to sorting the pledge levels, I realised 'big critters' would only be the raven, fox and maybe hare, and everything else was smaller. I'll plan the next batch more carefully!

Well, we're down to about 9 hours left on the project now, so here's some more pics, for those that haven't been on the project page yet:

cheers,
Michael

Only an hour or so to go now... here's a few pics of minis I've managed to get paint on:
