Been messing with BattleScribe for a little bit and came up with a Death Guard list. Still super new so not sure how good it is but I like the models in the list. Any input is appreciated, I just went off research and the books from the new starter kits.

You can add an extra Poxwalker to each unit and bring it to 1500 even

Personally, I prefer plasma guns over melta guns on the plague marines.
On the Hellbrute, you may want a gun with better range. That lone hellbrute will be hard pressed to get much, if any, use out of a multi melta.
I think that, more than the particulars of the weaponry, you need to look closely at the overall composition of your army and what your general strategy will be.
I have noticed that the speed of your units is somewhat incongruous. By this I mean that you have a fast moving prince and two fast moving
Bloat Drones. The rest of your army (apart from Typhus who can drop in wherever you want him) is really slow.
What is your overall strategy?

Honestly, I just sort of made it up based on the models i wanted to use. I haven't even played a game in many years so I really couldn't say on a strategy. That's sorta why I'm posting it here to see if it works at all. Should I ditch the wings on the Prince maybe?

I tried reworking the list a bit to add some speed to go with the drones and Prince. Let me know how this looks.

I completely agree with your reason for choosing the army. I generally choose my army based upon the units that I like, rather than power. (Which explains why I've played chaos for the last fourteen years. )
Having said that...
I honestly don't think that slowing the army down further is the way to go. If anything, you will want your army to be as quick and maneuverable as possible. This will assist you in being able to strike your opponents in the time and place of your choosing, as well as preventing your adversary from doing the same.
Unless you have an unbelievably strong gun line, slow armies aren't really the way to go, if you can help it.
Consider putting your plague marines in rhinos. (I realize those points add up fast.)
Having a unit or two of cheap objective campers is good, but the bulk of your army should be able to move together, in my opinion.

What if I drop the Blightbringer for a rhino? Or drop the 14 pox walkers?

Or...
Drop the blightbringer ( because, while cool on paper, what is he really bringing to the party?) and the Hellbrute, and keep the pox walkers but drop them down to 10 man units (because, if they are simply serving as cheap objective holders, you don't need the close combat buff) and you could get another rhino and another winged daemon prince.
Fly the princes up behind the rhino, advance the spawn and fly the bloat drones up alongside,
Advance the plague marines on foot up behind as the rearguard in order to prevent any deep striking character sniping shenanigans.
Drop Typhus in the mix when the time is right and you have a big, fast moving, disgustingly resilient smitey ball of death with rerolls of ones terrorizing your foes.
As an aside, I prefer paired Malefic talons on the princes.
I think it would be fun.

Yeah. That should work. If you're not absolutely determined to take the blightbringer, you could even have a second rhino.

I really just want to try him out. If he sucks I'd swap him for a rhino or 2 more spawn.

Question about base sizes for Chaos Spawn. I've seen both 40mm and 50mm, while the GW site is selling them with 50mm. On top of that my friend swear it doesn't matter that much.
