When I create poxwalkers via their rules, or spawns via Magnus', do I have to count them as reinforcements, therefore pay them in points?
Thank you

Poxwalkers no, as they are adding to an existing unit.

Spawn yes, as you are creating a new unit.

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

As above. Replenishing models in a already existing unit costs nothing. Creating new models in a new unit costs points.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Does creating new models in an existing unit cost points?

The spawn creation rules are simply stupid in match play. Who would pay the points for a unit on the off chance they might get to use it in a very specific scenario? Better to just field the spawn and ignore the creation rule. Same for the Horror split, what is the point? People just field the blue and brimstone horrors without ever buying pinkies.

Since every chaos player can summon daemons if they have units that are characters with the keyword chaos, if a player opts to set some points aside for daemon summoning- they could use some of them if spawns get created.

There is a lot of value to fielding pinks, they have an actual shooting attack, and a better statline. If you have points set aside you can use them to make blues/brims and make the unit a real PITA to take out. Or you can use them so summon other daemons if your opponent decides to not shoot the horrors.

Daemon summoning is actually pretty good, and under used. It's basically free reserve units that you can customize per situation/opponent.

This. A situational customizable tool that lets you deepstrike the best possible of several units into the best possible position at any point during a game. Yes please.

I quote Carraway, thats why I was not sure about the spawn, the point is that, even if its a cool mechanic, in order to make the summoning work, you need to have at least 65€ of demons that you MIGHT field, and that boders me. Thx for the answers!
