So I've yet to use one but how is dealing with a minimum move and only one 90 degree turn working?
I guess you basically have to fly them in a square pattern to keep them on the table no?

I run 3-5 fliers, even on small boards (heh..). It's up to 90deg, not a forced 90deg turn.

You can run the edges, or just be mindful of where you are flying (and where you would angle next turn). I tend to deploy my bombers last, as they're going strait down the throat of the enemy turn one and bombing what ever 10 man units they brought. Usually ends up with a flyer deployed every 15" apart of so, and they end their movement maybe 8" forward/aft of each other (still 15" apart). Next round, turn them and fly - usually turning left model right, center model left, and right model left. Repeat the grid pattern as needed. Don't be afraid to move your minimum, or right to the edge of the board as long as you know you can make your next turn.

Perhaps Dark Eldar are too busy taking the name "Joy Stick" literally to do anything fancy with their jets

Same as they had to do in 7th. My flyrants was a lot of planning moves 2 turns in advance.
