Taking teleporters on all of them is pointless because you have to start half the army on the board. So unless the teleporter changes in the new book your wasting points. Also the Heavy Psycannon is meh accept for on the GM. If you dropped them you'd save another 60 points and if you dropped the incinerator you'd save 100.
That would give you 405 points to play with.
Psilencer purgation squad is 113 points. Doomglaives are 165 if I recall. Interceptors would be a good fill as well to start on the board.
Just my opinion.

Thanks for the input, reducing some of the points seems like a good idea. This variant removes some of the excess weaponry from the knights, adds a psilencer purgation squad, and 2 interceptor squads. Keep 2x teleporters on the Dreadknights for some strike flexibility. Celestine is incredibly good so far this edition. Not sure about the canoness. That being said you could just take celestine and two grey knight hqs for the detachment.
Or even better some cheap guard hq units to fill out the detachment. Remember the key words as long as they are all imperium you can mix and match and still fulfill the requirements of the detachment.

Nonesense. Take all GMDK and give them each 2 guns . It's better firepower than anything else in the codex for the cost. Fill up remaining points with strike squads.

Seriosuly - I think you will find standard dreadknights to be underwhelming. When they move they hit on 4's (this should basically be all the time because they want to get in assault). 5++ save only - a single round of shooting from a ravager and you have a good chance at being destroyed.
Grand master hits better. Has and has a 4++ save. 2 GMDK> 3 Dreadknights. You can also get more command points this way.

This variant managed to get 2x extra strike team members to bring strike squads up to 6.
Everyone has teleport strike, so some flexibility in deployment. Load outs are the same for the GMDK

I think that's about as good as it get for us at 1250. I'd run falchions on the strike squads - terms can stay with fashions or they also do pretty well with halberds too. Strike squads should take GOI. Use on turn 1 to shunt terms up with the GMDK. Warlord takes Sanctuary and first to the frey warlord trait - the other two take vortex of doom on both OR some combination but must take vortex of doom. pretty good stuff I think. Only thing that stinks is no great relics to take in this army.

So now I've got my hands on the codex, it looks like I've misunderstood the points from the previews.
Grand Master Dreadknight is 30 points more than the base Grand Master, but adding weapons and it's actually 55 points more, which blow out all my calculations.
Back to the drawing board. Automatically Appended Next Post: I think I can drop the termies and take 3 strike squads,
Or just rethink the whole idea of a Dreadknight force :0
