Thoughts on them? They seem pretty good-good move, reasonable durability, and the ability to pump out 10 S5 shots a turn... Tasty.

Tried it in a few games.

It did well late game for clearing objectives. Pull up and unload the Storm's weapons into the unit then follow up with the shotguns. If the other unit survives, the storm might survive a round of shooting/CC on your opponents turn (typically it didnt) but I at least had the scouts to pile out and finish clearing the objecting.

If the storm is left in the open, it gets wiped off the table and the scouts get wiped too.

Interesting. Did you try charging things with the storm? I think this might be one of the best uses for it - and a good way to keep it alive. Charge the thing that would have shot it.

Storms seem well-placed to do this, as they can fly themselves. It doesn't prevent them from ducking back out and shooting again, if they survive.

I did. It did ok pulling up and unloading on a squad that had disembarked from a transport then charging their transport. If it survived overwatch it would tie up a landraider/rhino/razorback for a round of shooting but then get demolished when the unit fell back and the storm was shot by another unit. When charging infantry, it fared better but was still a glass cannon.
