I made a huge caponata this morning, and now I've got two cake salé loaves in the oven. The smell is mouth-watering.

That's going to be enough food to keep me going most of the coming week. Yum!

I thought about making a meat loaf but I've only just finished the one I made two weeks ago. I wish I had a larger freezer. Then I could do it and freeze portions for future use.

Is anyone else having a culinary adventure this weekend!

I'm doing some mergingue for my neighbour this week-end !
She has been helpful last month so I want to thanks her (yeah, I'm slow^^)
It is one of the few recipes that I can cook !

If you are doing BBQ and soft pretzels..

Baking bratwurst (or hot dogs if that’s all you have) into your pretzels = Yummy.

Just add a little mustard and you are good to go.

I'm on my way to Iraq. It will be a daily culinary adventure based around whatever looks safest in the market. Usually that means bread, vegetables, eggs, and cheese. The bread is excellent, though, to be fair.
