The All-Father shall not be mocked, not by the Bob "Eldar" Gulliman, not by some fat heretek. where was eldar bobby when fenris was bent over a table by magus? oh that's right, he was running around WITH THE XENOS WHO "RESSURECTED" HIM. funny later he was there at baal, helping codex chapters. convenient that fenris left for demon fodder. THE PRIMARIS HERESY MUST BE STOPPED. THE LINE MUST BE DRAWN HERE!! WHO IS WITH MY WOLVES!?
Just an observation, but why is it predominantly Space Wolves who do these "in-character" posts?
Either way, allow me to answer your howling*:
"Eldar"? You are aware that Guilliman didn't ask to be resurrected? And that he and his Chapter fought against the Eldar as part of the Great Crusade? And that he is the Emperor's son? That's a loyal son of the God-Emperor, and you're slandering him with xenos slurs? I think I can believe which the Emperor would support.
Guilliman wasn't at Fenris because he was sat on his throne back in Ultramar, stuck in a stasis field, slowly dying. I mean, out of all the possible excuses for not defending a planet, being crippled and immobile is pretty solid (unless you're also going to blame the Emperor too for that?).
The "xenos" that resurrected him, well, DID resurrect him. And also the Adeptus Mechanicus. It wasn't just the influence of Ynnaed that helped Guilliman. Furthermore, if you're complaining about Eldar tech, wasn't the Emperor working on harnessing the Eldar Webway? And let's not forget, the Eldar revived Guilliman because he was their best hope. If he wasn't the best thing for the Imperium (and consequently, best for the Eldar), then he'd never have been revived.
Guilliman is Imperial first - he respects the Eldar, but out of pragmatism. If the Imperium just goes again into full war with the Eldar, they lose a potential ally/meatshield, and suffer their own losses. A basic parley is the best outcome for both factions. Of course, pragmatism and politics weren't ever really Space Wolf things.
Blood Angels, a Codex Chapter? Err, what? They're just as much of a Codex Chapter as the Space Wolves are. Guilliman went to help them because they were a First Founding world, home of lots of Blood Angels, and because he could actually help them. The Space Wolves had already been attacked - how do you expect Guilliman to help them in stasis?
Primaris Heresy - yes, the Heresy that we can largely assume to be supported by the Imperium, due to the Emperor's own audience with Guilliman, and the support of Mars, the Inquisition, the Ecclesiarchy, the Munitorum, etc etc. It's not heresy. It's a revolution. As we've seen, the Space Wolves do accept Primaris Marines, as do most Astartes Chapters. So, if this is a heresy, it's widely held by most of the Imperium. I mean, a similar argument can be made that "this chapter won't accept reinforcement from Primaris forces! They're obstructing the Emperor's Will! Heresy!"
*Yes, that was a joke.

your plastic soldiers better watch their backs, you xenophile heretic. I aint too partial to your PRIMARIS LIES.
but as cool and creative some of the posts are in this thread, I just cant get into the primaris and 8th lore. I was excited during gathering storm and at first I was open minded towards primaris, but as some other posters have pointed out, a wasted opportunity. its clear GW is going for a modern route to attract the newest generations with a focus on characters and story development and art and miniature design that mirrors modern media trends like the comic movies, but its a business so they gotta do what they gotta do. I just wish the lore had gone a different direction.

Not claiming to know all the ins and outs of the 40k universe by any stretch, but from my limited understanding surely it's heresy to to improve upon the emperors work? RobbyG and Cawl should be getting a slap on the wrists from everyone in the imperium surely? But I'm open to changing my mind if any can explain otherwise

Heresy is reserved for weak. a living primarch and son of the Emperor, Guilliman has too much political weight and influence and anyone willing to stick their necks out to reprimand him would likely be the ones branded as heretics.

Hmmm, that still doesn't really change anything. All I can take from what you've said is that he is justified in committing heresy because he is the Emperors son, that gets away with his crimes because people are scared to bring it up in case it has costly repercussions.
That to me sounds like a heretical Dictatorship.

Why, if he looks at the state of the Wolves, battered and bruised with dwindling numbers, I'm pretty sure he's be accepting of some young pups, to train them as wolves to fight against Chaos.

That's every Space Marine, don't call out the one that is easy, it's not their fault a writer liked them more.
