I got a bunch of guardians in a trade and was contemplating converting them to Dark Eldar Kabalites.

I was going to purchase a few skull boxes that are coming out to add to them, but would love ideas on what other bits to use to modify them to where they are passable new recruits to Comorragh.

I would not try this - the guardians are an older, much less appealing cast. Their weapons are very static. You can do a lot when you mix in spare DE or Harlie arms and heads... but is it worth the bother?

Troops are just getting buffed with ob-sec, I recommend you flip the guadians and get proper Kabalites.

I appreciate the counter thought, but I am still looking to do a conversion, respectfully.

Unless you have no other way of making money, I can garantee that you will earn your time back at least ten times over by buying dark eldar models.

Nothing is like investing a lot of time and frustration and reach the point where you can see that you can not convert them as you want. That leaves you two options: Give up, or plow through and paint them knowing that you will never be happy with them.

My dyslexia is playing tricks on me. I though you had guard models, as in imperial guards. ^_^ Guardians is more doable.
