I would not pay 3pts for 4+ armor. What you have effectively done by adding 3pts is cut down your mob size by 50% and only increased durability by a little bit. The majority of my opponents use asscans and heavy bolters/flamers to destroy my hordes. So that 4+ is really a 5+, the only benefit to that armor is if they camp in cover they have 3+ armor, but good luck getting a mob of 30 in cover.
