I know this may seem strange, but since they got sucked into the Warp, would they have transports? If so, what would be available to them? Would it be Chaos transports even if they are Battle Brothers with the Imperium?

Thanks in advance

SG

They would probably steal whatever they need.

The only vehicles they'd have are what were being temporarily allied to them as a mercenary unit or stolen from someone else. They have no ships to transport their vehicles from planet to planet, no support personnel to maintain and repair them, and no planetary systems to supply them with parts and ammunition.

Just maintaining their complex power armor, scrounging up the incredibly rare and expensive ammunition their weapons use, and staying ahead of their pursuers would be difficult enough.

Explanations of heretic astartes logistics are usually questionable. Typically they have what the plot requires them to have.

Well, at least until Games Workshop decides to sell some!

At any rate, in terms of fluff, I've always envisioned them as travelling in small rag tag groups of no more than a dozen or so, possibly in small light space craft, without the ability to maintain or transport armoured land craft.

Most of the fluff surrounding the fallen involves them either working heavily with Chaos, in which case they tend to function more like Chaos marines or moving into Imperial worlds and setting themselves up as dictators.

In the first case they would likely have the same access to rhinos and other transports that Chaos has. In the second case they would likely have access to more Arbite or Imperial Guard type transports.

They really should have the ability to infiltrate to make them viable. Without transport they are a liability

As stated, they have whatever the plot requires them to have. It is entirely possible that one of them bartered, stole, plundered, or salvaged Rhinos, Razorbacks, Chimeras, or anything else that you want them to have. Since they have both the Imperial and Chaos keywords, you can include them in an Imperial force so they may have access to Imperial tanks too!

Depends on the type of fallen. There's a few fallen who have fully given themselves to Chaos. I would expect they have access to Dark Mechanicus to resupply them and provide arms and vehicles.

Then there are those who band together, travel the galaxy and try to clear their names. Those would probably be scrounging and repairing what little they have. Rhinos would probably be popular with them but other than that, they would be hard pressed to actually be able to field them in a combat role.

Finally there would be the ones who are just trying to live out the rest of their days nondescriptly. A suit of ancient worn power armor, a handful of bolts for their weapon, and an aged, dulled power sword is probably all these fallen have.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

They shouldn't have more than a few due to their inability to maintain them, but the fluff is changing so that may start working with Chaos more and get some vehicles from them.

40k drinking game: take a shot everytime a book references Skitarii using transports.
