Hi, I have had a google around but any relevant threads seem to be from a while ago and I was wondering if a more concrete answer had emerged.

The Nids player I game with regularly has been resolving attacks on his Tyrant as follows;
Tyrant gets hit. Tyrant gets wounded. Tyrant fails save + invul.
Tyrant takes 6+ Tenacious Survivor saves.
Tyrant then passes failed wounds to Tyrant Guard. TG make 5+ Catalyst saves.

Is that correct, or should the damage pass to the Tyrant Guard BEFORE the Warlord Trait kicks in on the Tyrant? The RAW seem to have both the FNP save and the Tyrant Guard intervention happening simultaneously, so I haven't really felt I had grounds to argue but it does seem a bit.....gamey.

Thanks

Tenacious Survivor and Shieldwall are both triggered at the same time (when the Tyrant loses a wound). Therefore, according to the 'sequencing' rules in the rulebook, the player whose turn it is decides what order to resolve those in.

So if your opponent is shooting on their turn at your Tyrant, they can technically force you to use Shieldwall first before Tenacious Survivor.

Wonderful, thanks for the info. Sounds pretty reasonable.
Has this been officially FAQ'd by GW or is that hoping for too much?

Why would it need to be FAQ'd? It's covered in the rulebook in the 'sequencing' rules.
