This is the current version of a list I am tweaking. I'd appreciate any constructive thoughts or suggestions. Thanks!

Vanguard
Bjorn, lascannon, true claw, heavy flamer
Arjac

Culexus
Culexus

4 TWC, 4 SS, 3 Frost Axes, 1 TH

5 Wulfen, 3 TH/SS, 1 GFA, 1 FC

5 Terminators, 4 Frost Axes, 2 combi-plasma, 1 TH

LR Crusader

Razorback, lascannons
Razorback, lascannons

I have 67 points to play with. Some initial thoughts are to fill out the wolf guard with combi-plasma, storm bolters on all of the vehicles.

I always dig elite, low-model count lists like this. I will say though, the only real answer you have to Horde armies is the LRC. A big Green Tide or food guard would be able to swamp this list in bodies.

The Thunderwolves and wulfen are good at decimating hordes in cc but they have to get there first.

I would consider dropping the las on the razorback for either the HB or assault cannon. This will help with anti horde fire while still being a nuisance to higher wound models.

If you're real keen on razor las though, maybe throw in some longfangs with missiles. They're rather versatile giving you anti horde and anti vehicle/MC shots.

Now that I've said all that. What is the plan with this army?deployment and strategy? the razors just seem out of place to me. Unless it's just to ferry assassins around?

Looks like a fun list to play against though. I miss the days of wolf guard as troops and bringing an all terminator army.

I miss the days of running a Logan wing as well. As far as the razorbacks, I figured it was the cheapest way to get some lascannons into the list for the ocassional armor heavy list. The razorbacks can also help mitigate the deep strike threat to the crusader. Initial deployment has the wulfen in the crusader flanked by the razorbacks with the cav just behind or on a flank depending on terrain. Bjorn moves up the field with the crusader and provides another melee threat. Arjac and terminators deep strike in at the point of attack to lend fire support and another tough threat. The assassins will most likely infiltrate to go after psykers or achieve line breaker or both. Smite spam and death hex have been problematic.

With the spared points add another terminator or a TWC. Stormbolters for the vehicles, only 6 points.

If you deep strike the terminators I'd consider 1-2 storm shields, since you may fail the 9'' charge and they will be in the open for a turn with only their 5+ invuln to protect them if targeted by weapons with some good AP.

Razorbacks with lascannons are good but a max unit of long fangs is cheaper (215 ponts), has one more lascannon and can re-roll ones. But if you want vehicles I guess razorbacks may be fine.

I've never run the assassins so I can't really give an input about the two anti-psykers in you list.

This. I love long fangs though, they are usually an auto include for me in most SW lists.

Since the wulfen are protected in the LR maybe more FCs for the +1 atk and reroll to wound. I've had great success with 4 FC and a hammer in most games. The key for me is multi charging, forcing as many enemy units to either fall back in the following turn or sit and get hit again by a dedicated cc unit.

With the extra points I'd either get more Thunderwolves or sprinkle in some SS for durability, mine always become a bullet magnet. I also second throwing some SS on the termies like Blackie suggested.

As always happy hunting.

Thanks for the recommendations. I think they are really solid. I'll toy around with adding some shields and some long fangs in place of the Razorbacks.

What are your thoughts on a double Crusader list? It's another concept that i have floating around in my head.

It would be super fun but a lot of points to sink in a 2k list I feel.
