Hey folks!

I've recently converted the Chaplain from the BaC box into a Khorne... something, by adding the banner of Khorne from the Khorne Juggernaught set. I was originally intending him to be an Exalted Champion but then I decided I wanted to get a Dark Apostle too.

So now I'm trying to think of whether I could make a cooler DA conversion or a cooler EC conversion and have this guy I've just made be whichever one I don't choose to make on this little project.

The problem is, I'm stumped as to what models I could use for each of the conversions: the regular DA and the BaC chaplain are out, so I was thinking maybe convert something from the fantasy range? Though I'm not too familier with the AoS models.

Any suggestions? Can I take a peak at some other peoples conversions?

The Chosen from Dark Vengeance (particularly the champion with the mace) makes a great Dark Apostle, while the ones with the power axe, power fist, and lightning claws all make great Exalted Champions.

You think so? To me they don't really stand out enough to be seen as characters, then again I have used them chosen so they look like normal marines to me.

They are fairly blinged out

i guess it depends on how decked out the rest of your marines are.

i guess it depends on how decked out the rest of your marines are.

All of the Characters in my army (except my regular chaos lord who is the first 40k character I ever git) are converted: my termie lord is a converted Death wing sergeant, my sorcerers are all converted loyalist psykers/loyalist special units, my other lords are all kitbashed, etc. I like to make my characters stand out.
