Soo....I thought they errata'd a fix for it but looks like they only errata'd plasma pistols and not plasma guns or can someone please tell me where the fix is. Cause for pete's sake that needs to be fixed.

Looks like it is indeed 3 with no errata currently. Only and errata for the plasma pistol.

Simplest fix, if they aren't fielding the Elysian models, don't let them 'count as'. I've seen a lot of Scions as Elysians this edition. Also, why does it need to be fixed? FW is generally a bit better than its GW counterpart. They've had multiple opportunities to errata it and haven't. Odds are they want it that way.

Reece at BAO made a big announcement about Elysian overcharged plasma being D2 all around for the tournament. Talk to your TO at a tournament or ask your opponent to be reasonable about it and it really shouldn't be a problem.

If by a bit better you mean more poorly balanced, less thought out, and edited/proofed. Then yes, that results in some units being a bit better in terms of cost for effect. Elysians are proof of that.
