I tought 25mm bases where beigh fased out so I put mine in 32mm bases but apparently its just marines? Rule wise can I have my kabalite warriors in 32mm bases?

Can you point to any Rule that tells us what Base to use?
It is going to be entirely up to the gaming community you intend to play in, some will allow it but many will not.

Hmmm. I could have sworn I read something that you should use the base size the model comes with in the rule book.

Funny enough, smaller base sizes matter now. A unit has to be entirely in a terrain feature to claim the cover bonus. You can fit more models into the "bubble of command" that surrounds most characters. Smaller bases mean more models get to fight. It's easier to move small bases around on the battle field to avoid obstacles or enemy models. Finally, more smaller based models can fight on or around an objective, which is important as many times it's "...count the number of models closest to the objective..."

I'd keep your Kabalite Warriors on 25mm bases.

I actually think Jinx may be right here. I know the rule you're talking about, but the was in the 7e BRB, right before it talks about models that don't have bases. Looking through the 8e BRB, I actually don't see anywhere that explicitly states what bases to use.

That being said, I would still agree with you that, at least as a general rule, best to just keep models on the bases supplied with them, that will be the best thing for them in terms of table presence. And Kabalites are supplied with 25mm bases.

Still have to use Citadel Miniatures though, they are very adamant on the fact the game is designed to be used with their Models.
Guess my Green-Army-Men get to sit in their tub another Edition.

It is my opinion, for the very reasons Tamwulf mentioned, you should be free to up-size the bases for ascetic purposes:
Doing so is more of a disadvantage in this edition, so no one can really claim you are Modeling for an Advantage.

There is no official ruling on base size. You can use whatever you want. GW doesn't care that older models, like space marines on 25mm bases, now have an advantage in the game over newer marines with 32mm bases, even though they cost the same points. You can get 4 ranks to fight in CC with 25mm bases, but only 2 ranks with 32mm bases.

25mm are the perfect size for kabalite warriors, the 32mm ones are too big and they would look silly. But if you like them there's no rule that prevents you from doing that.

Completely agree with Balckie on this one, Kabalites would look tiny on 32's. However, if you use Scourge I would swap them to 32's as it's almost impossible to get them to balance on 25's.

I don't see how they look tiny. There like 1mm taller than space marines.

Now now, don't you know the suffering of others makes you grow big and... strong?

Well, tall anyway.

The myth about 25 mm being phased out really needs to die. Some figures got moved to 32, plenty of releases since then have used 25.

You can easily cut the Kabalites from the bases. Either using a razor saw or by using clippers to cut the 32mm base away, file a bit and then glue them to a 25mm base.

I'm considering doing just this. Man do I love those scourges, but they could definitely use a bit more space to stretch their wings.

The succubus is another wobbly model that should benefit from a 32mm base.
