Hello! I'd like to see what people thought about a list i used today. I played two friendly games against Deathwatch and Blood Angels, winning both by tabeling my opponent. How would this stand up in a more competitive setting?

One 30 man boyz squad and ghaz were jumped by the weirdboy behind them in the first two turns. The tankbustas stood in the safety of the big meks KFF and the nobz jumped in the trukk with the normal warboss.

You can't teleport both the boyz and ghaz with the same weirdboy in the same turn. Only one unit can be selected when casting the power and the boyz plus ghaz are two different units.

The footslogging tankbustas are going to be wiped out turn 1 against every semi-competitive list, even at 1500 points formats, I'd always give them a trukk. The nobz can footslog under a KFF bubble instead, just add as many ammo runts as you can.

It looks like a nice fun list, but there are too many warbosses and not enough bodies for a 2500 points game. Short on CPs too.

I'm aware i cant jump both in one turn. Turncone and turn two i jumped ghaz and the boyz respectfully.

Should icdrop the bomb squigs then? They count as troop capacity in a trukk so i wouldnt be able to take them in it as well.

I always take 2 units of 5 tankbustas with 1 bomb squig each in a single trukk. You'll get two melta bombs instead of one and two nobz. I'd cut the rokkit pistols, they don't worth their points.

Ohh i see. The rokkit pistols are only because they came in the pack and i haven't taken the time to change it over yet. Should i keep the rokkit on the nob or switch it for a pk?

Keep the rokkit, pks are too expensive and tankbustas are mainly a shooty unit.

Beyond the two nobz, what is the advantage of having two different squads? Is the advantage just a model with +1A and +1W, or is there something I'm missing about MSU tankbustaz?

You can only throw 1 melta bomb per unit. Having 2 units of tankbustas per trukk increases the drive-by damage output.

Well it`s one additional wound and a better profile for no cost.
Plus you can disembark with just one of the mobs if there is a need for that. (CC, objective,...)

With the right list you can fill detachments faster that way and when it explodes & you roll poor you can give all wounds to one mob to keep the other one safe.
You can even give one mob two tankhammers and a BC for he nob which makes it a bit cheaper than full rokkits. Did that sometimes and they were a lot fun but basicly a suicide squad.
In a battle waggon 2 mobs can also have 4 bombsquiggs. And who would not want 4 bombsquiggs?
Furthermore that way 2 models may throw granades instead of 1.

Only downside is the additional killpoint when you happen to play the "no mercy" mission.
Morale does not really matter because if the opponent wants them dead he can do it.
