I was looking through the new Ad mech codex and on page 4 - 5 there is a large piece of artwork showing a battle between the Ad Mech and the Tyranids. In the picture you can easily recognize Vanguard, Ruststalkers, Kastelans, Dragoons, Ironstriders and Breachers. However there are three things on the Ad Mech side that I don't recognize, the three large guys that appear to be flying, as shown in the attached files.

Do you think that these could be new models for the Ad Mech to be released in the future? I know that The Death Guard Codex was released a while ago and they are still bringing out new models for them so it is not like they could not do the same for the Ad Mech. The biggest problem is the fact that there is not an entry in the codex for anything new but it is not like GW has never released a model after a codex is printed and made people get the rules either from download or from the box itself.

Looks like it could be a new Magos, which would be welcomed since the Dominus basically has zero options and is the only viable HQ for non-Mars armies (and even Mars armies are probably tired of Cawl anyways).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

That would be awesome as they really need some thing like that.

The army I'm taking to a tournament in october has Cawl and 3 enginseers, so I wouldn't discount the enginseer as a viable HQ. There's a lot of value to be had in being able to pick up cheap HQs.

That said, I wouldn't mind an alternative warlord.

I don't think that's what these are though. First of all, there seems to be an identical creature behind it, and their leaders are according to fluff incredibly unique, as each tinkers on himself (even though with only one clampack, that's not the case on the table) and also, what is the servitor in the top left corner, and what is that crackling claw weapon it's wielding?

Honestly, I think they're just artistic filling, to mix the well known models in with something else, which fits the fluffwise huge amount of different servitors that they're supposed to be bringing with them.

Definitely a magos on some kind of floating platform (they use those a lot in the fluff). Don't know if they will be a new unit. Seeing as that their codex has just dropped, probably not.

Error 404: Interesting signature not found
