No. No matter how many Drone Controllers you're within 6" of, you meet the qualification of being "... within 6" of a model equipped with a drone controller.." and only benefit once.

Sounded funny. I play a Tau guy that claims the opposite of your response. Didnt know if it was nore 8th silliness so I let him play it like that.

Next time ask to see the rule. The rule is clear that it only applies once. Trust, but Verify and all that jazz.

I get that. It was just a house game. But it did start bothering me afterward.

I haven't really got into Tau yet this edition.

Curious, where do you see that its obvious it only apllies once? I feel like I missing an entry. I looked at the wargear for DCs and it wasnt really that obvious, it just said any drones within 6". I dont think the Faq addresses the " otherwise stated ". It doesnt say it doesnt stack.

Not trying to be difficult, just not big in interpretations. Wheres the RAW?

If Im gonna tell this dude hes playing it wrong, it needs to be wrong. He claims he done the research in Tau land and its a thing... because of what it doesnt say. You know the drill.

Thanks Jinx for the link, but after playing for over 20 years I understand whats required to play this silly game and am well aware of errata. Most of the time I predict them before they come out for reals.

You still will want to have these answers on hand if you have to convince an Opponent that this is exactly how the Authors intended for us to play their game.
Doubtful the people you playing with will accept 'Some guy on the internet told me you are wrong' but an answer penned out by the Author does carry weight.

In the tau army, the +2 to hit in a drone can be achieved, with the drone controls + drone uplink (but is only for sniper drones)

God damn English language and shifts from 7th to 8th!

I could walk away before I even post this, but I do want to highlight that I almost made a mistake reading Jolyas before someone else makes the mistake anyway:
There is a way to get a "+2 to hit" using the two mentioned Abilities - they increase the resulting dice roll by 2
The Ballistic Score of a sniper drone is 5+, so applying these Abilities will require a dice-face of of 3 or greater to score a hit
