Also in the desert

I don't think the weapon selections on the kabalite warriors are legal per the current index.

I like that Archon loadout and use it myself. Looking forward to reading how your Scourge units perform. What is the Haemonculus doing for you in this list? Granted, the whip is nice in melee and all.

The desired effect is what you get when you improve your interplanetary funksmanship.

Kabalites can only take one Heavy weapon (Dark Lance or Splinter Cannon) at a minimum squad size of 10 and 2 at a minimum squad size of 20.

The Dark Lance Scourge work really well but Heat Lances are nigh on useless for their points this edition.

You guys are right, not sure how I mixed up the Kabalites. I will fix that and switch the Scourge's Heat Lances to Dark Lances as well.

The Haemonculus was added to fly with the large Kabalite Warriors in the Tantalus. I know the toughness bonus doesn't work while riding, but figured if/once it is shot down or the group jumps off to take an objective, the Haemonculus would add to their survivability.

Would this look any better? Bit of a change from my original list.

Warriors are there for taking objectives, Archons ride with them.

There's not much that will hold up here to dedicated close combat units, a Tantalus should be carrying Trueborn toting special weapons and Incubi who are happy to jump out to eat anyone who gets too close.

It is the toughest and fastest transport in the Drukhari arsenal, it feels wasted on 15-30 splinter shots, and while 15 Kabalites should be good at capturing objectives the Tantaluses will be the first things your opponent removes and then those warriors are toast. You have to count on these things being shot down in the first couple turns.

The Blaster Scourges don't seem as useful as Blasters embarked in the Tantalus either. Personally though I use two units of Scourges too I stick to Dark Lances to use the 36" for protection. 18" is fine for a Venom but a little close for comfort for T3 infantry.

I think you should run a Spearhead and Vanguard.

I think you could scrap both squads of Warriors, the Blaster Scourges and the Voidraven and for 509pts snag two units of Incubi (180), two units of 5 Trueborn with Blasters (230), and upgrade your Ravagers so they're all toting 2 Dissies and 1 Dark Lance (30 more pts) with a few points to spare for PGLs and Agonizers and hell why not some Medusae too?

Or some other combination that takes advantage of the speed and transport capacity of the two Tantaluses.

Maybe I'm too stuck on them but I think maximizing their transport ability is what makes them really shine. How often do you see TWO Tantaluses on the board? You're twisted dude. Vect loves you.

With 2 HQs and 2 troops use 2 patrol detachments instead of a spearhead. You gain +1CP without touching the list.

Were the Patrol detachment Errata'ed to provide +1CP ? I thought they didn't provide CP

Thanks for the feedback, I will give it some thought. My original thought was to reduce the attention on the Tantaluses, figured with some blasterborn on board they would become an even bigger target. I should try to find points for the Scourge to be Dark Lances instead of Blasters.
15 Warriors would die quickly, but a squad of Blasterborn would die even faster and figured I needed some objective holding ability (thus big warrior squad).

Agreed, I have not see any changes to patrol for CP.

Some more changes. Dropped the Scourges with blasters and reduced the Warriors to 12x each. Still only splinter rifles, but I think I prefer having the extra bodies for objectives than small and expensive trueborn squads.
Point savings allowed for a second Voidraven which should help with with larger troop units (void bombs). Plus I really like the Voidravens.
