Hey everyone. I'm new here and was hoping for some feedback on my list. The idea is that ghe terminators, chaos lord, and sorc lord deploy in the warp with abby and the Lords of skulls on the table. The Lords of skulls march up with abby, shooting and rerolling, while the deep striking lords and terminators take out a key backline piece from the enemy.
Chaos Terminators [14 PL, 250pts]: Mark of Slaanesh
. Chaos Terminator Champion: Combi-plasma, Power sword
. Terminator: Combi-plasma, Power sword
. Terminator: Combi-plasma, Power sword

He mostly has presience and death hex to alliw tge terminators to freely overcharge plasma on anything they land on In testing i never wanted to get closer to my targets.

Could be fun. You will either faceroll and win in 2 turns or get tabled depending on your opponent. I personally would never play anything this unbalanced/swingy, but you do you.

I run 2 of these terminator units. you do know with endless cantopy you can give your terminators a extra round of shooting. and mark of slanesh does give them a better icon and access delight full agonies (feel no pain spell
if you don't use warptime you dont have to be on the front line with your Sorcerer give him a jumppack and save points. and get out of the denied the witch range also because your saving points you could put a chainfist in the unit you never know what you will face
Also the lord if he is not going to fight first turn jump pack and combi plasma powerfist if he is still alive second round he will be able to charge some thing and do damage

I'm curious what you think bad matchups would be? I'm always looking for help improving the list.

I found that if i deepstrike them all together with terminator armor it makes them much more surviveable overall. I did know about the stratagem and thats why the terminators are slaanesh marked. 20 overcharged plasma gaks that cant roll ones are too good

A bad match up would be someone who's playing the game to enjoy the chess-like tactical/strategic elements of the game. As you wouldn't even get to play the game with him/her.
Your list is like bringing a rocket launcher to a fist figtt.

I disagree. I have found that i am still forced to make tactical decisions with this list. Arguably with fewer units I even have less room for error in those decisions.

Have fun.
++ Super-Heavy Detachment +3CP (Imperium - Astra Militarum) [107 PL, 1992pts] ++

Banehammer [26 PL, 498pts]: Hunter-killer missile, Twin heavy bolter

Stormlord [27 PL, 458pts]: 2x Heavy stubber, Hunter-killer missile, Twin heavy bolter
++ Total: [107 PL, 1992pts] ++
By now, I hope you're starting to get what I meant by bringing a rocket launcher to a fist fight.
FYI, you better hope you get first go because this list can table you even with a mediocre roll before you can deep strike your termies.
edit:
Quick math reveals the following maximum damage potentials JUST in the shooting phase:
6x S16 hits, max 72 wounds
6x S9 hits, max 36 wounds
16x S8 hits, max 60 wounds
20x S6 hits, max 40 wounds
60x S5 hits, max 60 wounds
3x S4 hits, max 3 wounds

Sorry if i misunderstood but wasn't your point that my list was no fun because it wasn't tactical? Also if you are going to put that list together why not just go with:
++ Super-Heavy Detachment +3CP (Imperium - Astra Militarum) [108 PL, 1998pts] ++
+ Lord of War +
Shadowsword [27 PL, 518pts]: Hunter-killer missile, Twin heavy bolter

Quick math puts that at 390 max wounds with rerolls to wound.
Also it basically comes down to who had the first turn at that point and/or if I can deploy in such a way that I can mitigate the damae. Also in the world where all of those shots hit and would with BS 4+ lets say i make all my invulnerable saves at 4 and 5+. That leaves a minimum damage of 0 in the shooting phase.

Perhaps you misunderstood my point. You asked for a bad match up against your list.
What I was trying to get at is that if you took that list to a LGS, noone will want to play with you unless they had a specific list to counter your list.
The "chess-like" analogy was meant to explain that it would be no fun for your opponent.
No games = bad match up (since there are no match up to begin with). Get what I mean? Didn't mean to hurt your feelings there bruh

No feelings hurt I just misunderstood the point of your post. The bad matchup being only a list tailored against mine seemed silly as I'm sure there are other lists that would give me a run for my money. In a casual environment I wouldn't run more than 1 LOW model unless we are playtesting for a tournament.

Bad matchups for this list would be
Things that can outrun and outgun. Dark Eldar or some Tau lists for example.
Things with a huge footprint that can deny your deep strike and that you cant chew through before the game ends like guard, nids, and orks and the like.
Things with smite spam + a huge footprint like Guard, Malific Lords, and Tzeench brimstone spam.
Good matchups are slower, smaller elite armies. Marines, GK, Necrons, some other chaos builds, ect
