Kronos will probably be warlord for psychic shenanigans and the kraken hive will likely take -1 to hit relic for -1 command point. Gene stealers run up the field with opportunistic advance - termis ride in the Trygon. Hives can deep strike in and cause havoc. Gants will get the shoot twice stratagem the turn they come in then we just shoot the heck out of them with weight of dice. Should be fun.

I am not sold on the miasma cannon on the flyrant either. lots of little bug, but if you play on planet bowling ball they are going to suffer, if your tables have decent terrain they should be ok. Hope I was able to help I am returning to tyranids, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Looks like a fun list, the only "flaw" I see is your Kronos Spearhead will be left with no Synapse (almost certainly) so that might cause some sub-optimal targeting issues. Are the Zoeys one Brood? Looks like you can "beta strike" very well, and you have a good Alpha as well. If you go second, then the infestation nodes will help the Stealers hide. Good luck! And good hunting!

I would highly reccomend turning 1 Exocrine into a unit of hive Guard. They can double fire and that is glorious, especially from out of line of sight

That's a pretty good point - didn't even occur to me when I designed this. Outside of dropping a carnifex for a malanthrope plus filling out the genestealers - I don't see another fix. Really hate to lose that carnifex - though it would make both exocrine harder to kill and solve the instinctive behavior issue. What do you think? Roll with the risk of having bad targets for exocrine? Or drop a carni for a malanthrope?

Been hearing that a lot lately. They are sold out and I built mine as tyrant guard. I also plan on using double fire for the gants.

Turn 1 that’s a great strat. But then when they die and you still have a ton of CP....

But best of luck getting a hold of some!

If you want a cheap babysitter a Neuro, or a vanilla Warriors (heck toss in a cannon) is pretty easy to trim to fit.... Whats that run now,75 for a cannon seems pretty decent...

Exocrine
Carnifex - 4x Dev, Enchanced Senses, Cycsts

Kraken Battalion

Why are you taking Kraken on the 2nd battalion, the only units thats are melee bases our your trygon and genestealers, what is the strategy behind that vs just going pure kronos? you have so much shooting I don't think kraken is really going to help.

Well - none of the units in the kraken detachment get anything out of kronos. Mainly i wanted a kraken hive tyrant and some kraken zoanthropes. These Zoanthropes are gonna be flying dude. The genes are probably just distraction carnifex - but if left ignored they can charge from quite a bit away with kraken + strategems.
