Anyone know of any companies out there making terrain that would be good for 54mm gaming? Or is there a good size/scale for model railroads or regular plastic models that would go good with 54mm minis? I tried googling and searching around, but haven't really found anything.

Or do you pretty much have to scratch build everything?

1:35 must be pretty close to 54mm (1800mm / 54 = 33.3) so you could try plastic WW2 diorama kits or look at 1 gauge (~1:32) model railway stuff?

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

I'd contact a laser cutting terrain company that makes terrain that you like the look of, then ask for a quote on how much it would cost to have a building design that they (pick one or 2 to use as examples) sell scaled up and cut.
It'll cost more from a pure material cost, but if they offer custom cutting, as many do, it shouldn't cost too much as they already have the design or be much of a problem..

Edit: one issue I'd forsee is where you have plug joints for floors or finger joints on building corners. Which would require a bit of work but not much.

Yeah, 1/32 - 1/35 is basically 54mm scale, as is 1 gauge model railways. Look for old Airfix kits or resin diorama items from Verlinden or similar. Just be prepared to pay a bit much.

Playmobil or similar toys might be worth a look, not the best detail but it's solid modular stuff.
What genre are you after?
