Hey folks,

I've been slowly and steadily painting up my DG, and these suckers take forever to paint well, especially for a slow painter but through the perseverance and slow rot of Nurgle's blessing I've been able to get two unit together.

GW Style Fluff: This is a Vectorium made up of Plague marines recruited from the 4th Plague Company who aspire to demonhood and accompany demonic incursions into real-space. They are especially adapt at hunting down and neutralizing psychers and Demon hunters in imperial armies. Cultists who join the ranks of the vectorium eventually undergo a joining ceremony in which the cultist's body becomes a host for a powerful plaguebearer. Unlike many Nurgle forces, instead of purulent decay, the strains of plague carried by the Virulent Sons induce powerful mutations and the demons that accompany them in battle seem to glow with unnatural and disturbing vitality. Led into battle by a powerful Plague Sorceror the appearance of the Virulent Sons is a sign of impending demonic incursion, and strikes terror in the heart of an entire system... (I had to do it )

Very cool and clean. But not too clean for Nurgle. Nice stuff.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Rust is my favorite part of painting these guys!

1) Directly over primer apply several coats of typhus corrosion to create texture. You want really dense and built up layer to make the blade surface uneven.
2) Paint entire area with Doombull Brown
3) Wash with really dilute Agrax Earthshade (1:3 parts wash : Lahmium Medium)
4) Dry Brush with Mournfang Brown
5) Dry Brush with Tuskgor Fur
6) Dry Brush with Jokaero Orange
7) Stipple Dryad Bark with sponge to break up extreme highlight.

Hope that helps.
