Subject: Any Cool Models to Represent Crusaders?

I'm making a Germanic Renaissance Imperial Knight army, converting guard with free peeps from Sigmar. I want to chuck in a unit of Crusaders but I'm not sure what GW models I could use for them. I was considering maybe the Greatsword dudes from Sigmar and chucking Shields on their backs, but I'm not sure that'd be cool enough.
Was wandering if you guys had any suggestions or ideas?
Cheers everyone

I made "arbites" for my crusaders. Used the "slab shields" i think theo called from Ogryn, legs from scions, body from IG, arms from GSC or IG and head from Skitrarri vanguards.

I used the Sisters of Silence models with Empire helmets and stormcast shields for mine. They come with great swords so there was no chopping necessary.

Hey, thanks for the replies guys, they're good ideas. I quite like the Sisters of Silence idea, what do you mean by Empire helmets?

Stormcast Liberators seem to be an easy choice as well.

There's also that whole line of Stormcast Eternals, there has to be something there that would work with a minimum of conversion.

My main issue with using Stormcast off the bat is that they're quite chunky for toughness 3 models

Space Marines have tons of genetic engineering to make them Toughness 4. A very tall, muscular regular human still isn't going to break into the Toughness 4 range. It's entirely reasonable for there to be planets in the Imperium with very tall, muscular humans - the Catachans aren't as tall as Space Marines, but they're as muscle-bound as possible, and still Toughness 3.
These guys? Toughness 3. Still normal, un-augmented human flesh and bone, just huge. If anything, your regular human might be Toughness 2; WH40K mostly deals with soldiers, who are trained to somewhere near peak physical condition.

I can’t find any pictures but they were Warhammer Empire Infantry helmets with visors. Gave them a very Dark Souls feel.

What's your part list for the arms and torso?
Robed space marine legs?
Shield from a special character?

The Polito form is dead, insect. Are you afraid? What is it you fear? The end of your trivial existence?

The robed body and legs are from the Dark Angels veterans kit, I think the sword is too. The cool shield was from a Forgeworld event only model I’m afraid, so probably difficult to find!

The old bretonian range would have definately have something for you. They could be hard to get hold of though.
