Long story short, I have a bunch of Space Marines. I've used them a grand total of five times. Two of those were proxy Bezerkers, and another was just for Havocs. At this point, should I just sell/give away my Bolter Marines? I can use the Chainsword ones for Bezerkers, and the Special Weapons are havoc-able. But I don't see any real use for the bog standard ones, when I have nearly every other unit under the Codex at my disposal (as a Khorne player. No Noise/Rubric/Plagues for me!)

I'm actually going to start running Skulltakers every now and again. In that army I've got standard bolter marines, heavy bolter marines as well. Since under the current rules I'd have to run berzerkers as elites, I'd need some troop choices. So a couple 5 man bolter squads and cultists fill that.
For you I'd say if you don't plan on running small squads of bolter guys for extra dakka, sell em.

My issue with running them as Dakka is that a min size Chosen unit with Combi Bolters provide double the Dakka for only 5 points more per model.

My chaos marines are generic enough to be run as basic CSM squads or as Havocs, it's weird that you wouldn't be in the same position. The extra generic CSMs are just usefull to have around, Ive found.

BeRzerkers*. Buy some chainswords/pistols on eBay, snap off the bolter arms, get to killing. Always more Berzerkers.

WYSIWYG is not a rule anymore. You can model them without arms and they are still legal.
That said, bolter CSMs are not entirely bad. Dakka makes them sound much worse than what they are. You can take lascannons with them, I was running squads of 20 with 2 Lascannons for a while and they did a good job on the table.
