So I am looking at starting a Slaanesh army for 40k with the Daemon Codex dropping. Just to get it out of the way, I know they are not the most competitive and I have another army that I rely on for that.

I am thinking of using the Necrons Deceiver as my Keeper of Secrets conversion. Would the head from the Chaos Lord of Slaanesh kit from AOS fit onto the Deceiver body? or are they much different in size? I have not seen either in person.

Or extra recommendations about using a different model? I'm looking to use GW range only.

I've also thought of using Alarielle the everqueen but it's an expensive model with a lot of extra useless bitz. I don't like the Skaven Verminlord look that a lot of others have used.

Addendum: This is the inspiration while doing a google search. I'd probably make a couple changes... but it looks like he used green stuff to just change the deceivers head. I don't think that's a modeled head. It's too alien for the model as well IMO.

Yeah I know the original is more of the beastial figure. I am looking to make it seem more like the Forgeworld model but a lil toned down. The forgeworld KOS is a giant naked chick lol.

Sadly those that responded on Reddit seemed to think the Slaanesh Lords (Sigvald) head would not fit on the Deceiver.

It probably wont.

You are kinda boned for fem heads at that scale.
i think your best bet would be to look for 54mm or some art scale miniature bust and steal the head.

alternativly since you may end up needing to GS anyway

you could just use the original head, sculpt some hair and hide the face ala link.

It doesn't need to be feminine. With the Deceiver conversion I actually would like it to be male. I plan on having a female Daemon Prince that is from the Bloodwrack kit, the medusa part of it. Modified of course.

Does this picture help with scale? I don't know what the head is from but it seems like an OK size.

That looks like someone converted an avatar to the laughing God rather than the bloody handed god, that I believe is a eldar harlequin head, so normal troop sized head. Looks a tad small to me but personal preference, now I don't know the size of the head you refur too, but hopefully knowing that's a haraquinn head should help you weight it up

From Endor to Hoth, Ripley to Spock, I'll get what you want but there's Gunna be a cost

I believe it is. I see what you're saying though... it is a little small. I think it mainly looks like that due to him simply not having a real neck though. Converting stuff is hard when you can't physically see it to compare! Thanks everyone for your feedback.
