Hi, im going to paint some skeletons as if they are ghosts skeletons and i want to make them blue colored.
Is there any glaze/wash/technical paint from GW to achieve the same affect as they get using nihilak oxide for their green ghosts?
If not, ill use their technique but i want to try some blue instead of the "classic" green

Gathering the Informations.

Corax White Primer then wash it with Drakenhof Nightshade for a very dark blue or Coelia Nightshade for a greenish-blue.

I wanted a more light blue than i can get with drakenhoff nightshade.
Im thinking of using guilliman blue glaze but i dont know i f i would get the effect.

I'd try a thinned down mix of Guilliman and Lahmian Medium, as I put straight Guilliblue on my Assault Terminators' Lightning claws and got a pretty solid, deep blue coverage.

Take a look at what I've been painting and modelling: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/725222.page

I use watered down guilli glaze and it works fine.
The thinner it is the less blue tone you get, but allso how mutch you load your brush has something to say about how weak or stronge the blue tone gets.

I have a few ghosts in my death gallery if you want to see a possible result using the guilli.
The spirits and cairn are done whit the glaze, the banshee is drakenhof > white drybrush > guilli > white drybrush.

start with something like electric blue, use a blue ink - thinned a bit, then dry brush a mix of electric blue and white?

bit of the same colour as a dry brush for OSL onto the base?

GW Duncan's tutorial on... Nagash? I think, he used nilahk oxide, thinned down for a really cool ghostly effect. May be a little more green-blue than you want tho
