Just finished reading watchers of the throne.

It's an awesome book, but there's one interesting thing in the end of the book:

Spoiler:
Abbadon's evil plan following the Cicatrix storms was to block all the warp routes from Terra to the rest of the galaxy using corrupted remains of cadian pylons to disrupt the warp.
He succeeded in eliminating all safe warp routes from Terra except one - the Vorlese system.

So essentially this system is literally the only safe link from Terra to the rest of the galaxy; basically Cadia in reverse?

given the couple of centuries of the Indominus crusade, it'd be interesting to see what's happened to what was a backwater.

Has anyone seen anything more about the place.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

it strikes me as likely that without the pattern being "completed" the lock eventually broke up naturally.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Guilliman said the disruption to the warp routes was meant to delay the Indomitus Crusade. He never seemed to think it would mean total or permanent isolation of Terra, just that the planned start of the Crusade would be set back by years until they figured out a way to get round or neutralize the obstacle. This would have meant Chaos would have had that many more years of running rampant throughout the galaxy without Guilliman being able to counter them.
