Spoiler:

So I finally finished my Big Momma from Puppetswar. I wound up doing it as a Iron Warriors Vindicator. The kit is kind of big for a Vindicator, but eh. I don't think most CSM vehicles are "standard" after 10,000 years at war, anyway.

Spoiler:

Nothing really weird - siege shield, trophy racks, the usual.

Spoiler:

I did the work almost entirely with an airbrush.
Spoiler:

Spoiler:

To continue a trend from my other Iron Warriors vehicles, I added an AI driver/targetting intelligence. There is no point in going Chaos if you can't ignore the Imperium of Man's outdated rules on artificial intelligence.

or perhaps it's a high-technology sarcophagus for a daemon.

Spoiler:

It didn't photography very well, but the "IRON WITHIN IRON WITHOUT" plate on the main gun is pretty readable.

Spoiler:

This is roughly half of the finished army. It's gotten a bit out of hand.

Your painting is great, but I've always hated the oversized calibers of certain weapons on scifi vehicles. 1) no way could that tank take the recoil from that cannon and 2) the shell size required would mean the tank can only ever have the shell in the breach and would need a long line of trucks each carrying another shell, and a crane to move each shell into the tank. Just really immersion breaking, even with the chainsaw swords.

You love the T-Rex. Its both a hero and a Villain in the first two movies. It is the "king" of dinosaurs. Its the best. You love your T-rex.
Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

Looks great, Ouze! Nice change to regular Vindicators, very tidily presented. Doesn't look out of place in the group shot.

I mean I certainly agree with your point, but in this case I'd make an exception as there is something wonderfully and completely over the top about this. We will say it uses warp magic to generate shells and recoil dampening. Lol

People go to church and pray to entities for whatever reason. This guy just has his own set of theories. If 2000 years ago some guy wrote a book about the warp while lighting a bush on fire - there would be a whole bunch of people in temples right now worshiping warp related activity.
