It counts as an extra issue on top of the four you usually get. So if you don’t cancel the special you get 5 that month.

Ah cool, I’ll wait and see what they are then.
Could see the big tanks and such being them perhaps, if it is from those models in the picture.
The ideal is it’s extra on top of it.
Mortarion and Guilliman maybe?

The Silver Templars is a very nice scheme, silver with yellow shoulder pads and black trim.
Also a tiny bit of background in the first issue "The Silver Templars of Novaris rely upon audacity and daring coupled with incredible one on one skill as duellists."

Okay this needs to come over to North America, I would be all over it! I was under the impression that the first few issues had all the good stuff and it would go downhill quickly from there but the picture of what you have at the end of the 80 issues is very impressive.
At the very least I suspect ebay will have a lot of very cheap models going up in the near future!

The paint brush included is a ‘starter brush’ not near the quality of he other brushes they sell in GW.
I imagine this might be what’s in the starter paint sets and such? Never bought one of those. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh guys,
I was just able to add my subscription number from my email to my account on Hachette, so it’s obviosuly gone live a bit before.
Just pasted the number into the Add Subscriptions section

Have they got a release date for this in the UK yet? The first few issues will make a nice couple of squads for Kill Team at the very least.

The brush is slightly different to the starter brushes in the paint sets from GW. It feels incredibly cheap.

Very much so, I will use it for basing and other messy jobs.
Still glad that I got 3 copies of issue 1 from Forbidden planet for £7.50 odd delivered, that cost is the same as the RRP of one of the issues three paints. You will always use the Abaddon Black and Retributor is my go to gold. Throw in three messy job brushes, 9 Primaris Marines and I am very happy.

Yeah I can’t complain for the deal.
Really depends how the issues go up to Christmas as to how much further I’ll go.
Gives long enough to see how it builds up.
Trouble is, I’ll get all the DI stuff first I’d imagine, which is the stuff I already have..
I just don’t have an army using Blue, so now I have loads of it for no reason..

Yeah it's still a great deal. I'm doing my kill team scenery heavily rusted, so I'll use one of those cheap brushes to plaster Typhus Corrosion all over it.

I'd guess that the competitions closed as the links gone from the website (it was probably intended for customers during the test run earlier in the year)

That’s fine as long as I’m not going crazy and missing it.
As sometimes when I was on the site I saw it and other times not, but wasn’t looking for it so was never sure where I’d seen it. Automatically Appended Next Post: Although it was there literally days ago, which is odd they kept it that long if so..

Ah, makes sense. Should have done it at the time..
Well hopefully I’ll get issue 1&2 from Hachette soon (what is the release date of 2, 29th same as 1? Or the week following? Can’t remember offhand).
I’ve got my extra issue 1’s but want to get cracking into issue 2 now..

Issue 2 is Wednesday 5th September.
They usually wait a week or two extra for issue 1 to gain traction before going into the next issue but don’t seem to be doing that here.

I suppose shops may have issue 1 out before the 29th anyway, considering Forbidden Planet had theirs in and posted already.
So I guess we won’t get 1&2 posted out to us until the 5th then?
Do Hachette normally send the block of four issues when the last in that lot is due out?

They usually group the deliveries for a month in one batch, so it's possible you won't get a months mags until the end of it when all have been released, it is how the original run was of conquest was advertised, though the email I had about the free issues for being subbed to that was issue one was going out on 29/08/2018. It is what happens with the 200ad one I'm subbed too and they somehow manage to make that take and age to arrive.

Just got off the phone with them, had to change the delivery address for the sub, their rep said the first part had been posted on the 24th so it should arrive tomorrow or the day after. Now what is arriving I don't know, could be issue one or could be all four as my subcripiton section of their site doesn't have any listed yet. The take away question from this is why can't I change the delivery address or subscription level via their website.
Edit: According to their new subcripiton part the first delivery is Issue 1 and 2.

I suppose there is no service to ship issues to the USA? I'd definitely be interested in having a subscription delivered somewhere and then get monthly or bimonthly mailings across the Atlantic.

Forbidden Planet are selling it via their web store, I assume they'll be selling it in stores too. I'm going to see if I can pick up another copy tomorrow from Tesco but I assume WH SMiths would have the firest couple issues as they usually carry most of the first issues for partworks.
