I think they are still getting caught out by its popularity. Some issues are still selling out in minutes of a restock. It's the sort of situation that can make or break a company.
I'm wondering if GW have had to do another run of some of the plastics required for our orders, which is causing the delay. The money has been taken, but no magazines showing yet, let alone delivered.

Same here. Just in time for me to be back on nights, so sleeping when the postman knocks. Recycling bin gets a glue sleeve to help fill it

Has anyone done a guesstimate about how the remaining stuff breaks down? Now we know how they are breaking up DI we should be able to work out what might be coming in future issues based on number of sprues vs number of issues remaining.

Awesome - just checked and looks like my first two issues are finally ready to dispatch. Just in time too as a bunch of extra paints I ordered have arrived

A number of issues will have paints / brushes only but we don’t know how many yet so think it would be tough to get an accurate breakdown at this time.

Expecting here roughly something like this in every pack of four:
- 1 issue with paints/brushes and similar only but no models
- 1 issue with terrain
- 1 issue based on marines
- 1 issue based on death guard
the DI spure will essentially count as whatever the majority on the frame is, likely ordered so whatever spares you get one issue are used the next.
only interesting part becomes the multi-frame vehicles, where you could see them split over two deliveries

Sorry for the fuzziness - got it off another group I'm on.
Checked if it had been posted by looking at last few pages but couldn't see anything - Heresy me if old
Issue 15 - Biologus Putrifier
Issue 16 - Two Intercessors, One Interceptor, Two Hellblasters
Yeah it was just than a few pages back now. When the first 11-14’s started arriving.
17 as another container is news though.
On the subject of DI, the sprues are all split by faction, so they could easily send one faction Sprue per delivery, and that wouldn’t break the pattern.
On the glue. Revell is my usual, the metal spout is great. Don’t use a lid, I have a thin paper clip bent at a right angle, just slides in as a stopper.
Will try there same when I get to the GW. But I’m still in the one Revell for years now, and have an unopened one sitting there too.

On the glue, I rely on Citadel's poly cement. No other model shops that close to me, so it's as much convenience as a set preference.
And for the plug? Old TV aerial cable contains a brass/copper/dunno wire through the core. Two minutes with select tools, and one plakky glue plug

Personally I'm hoping that, for subscribers from issue 1, the Tank comes across a max of four issues but in the same delivery. If not, I'm sti!l only paying a max £32 for a ridiculously priced model.

The Repulsor is only a three sprued model, the Plagueburst Crawler is two. So that looks like five issues covered there.

Well, we're seeing the Containers released within a couple of issues of each other.
Tanks are of course different, as they're not 'three copies of the same sprue'.

I think it still lends credence to the tanks being split over issues. You have the containers (£30 set) over three sprues split so makes sense that they would do the same with the tanks.

Yeah i reckon it will be 1 sprue per issue - that still means you're getting a Repulsor for £24 though which is a bargain.

Oh they'll definitely be split. So far the only multi-sprue we've had was the Librarian, and even then those are the quarter sized sprues.
It's a question of whether they'll be done over successive issues, or broken up a bit more.

There is no way it won’t be issues next to each other.
Surely that would push customers away. Various people’s needs and means.
Though I guess it would force people to continue subscribing.
But my guess would be a month with a repulsor and a paint/brush or similar.
Then a month with PBC, paint/brush, and one other thing.
The main customer base is subscribers, so if they can’t build a whole model for a whole month, somethings wrong there.
(The weekly buyers would have to wait, but the point is - sub instead! And they’d only wait a week at a time for each follow up Sprue.
I mean time will tell. But if they don’t do it that way, huge mistake imo.
(Or matters not a bit to me, I haven’t even gotten to building the reivers yet, let alone the 11 odd issues sat in the pile)

The sprues for the tanks and the like will probably be one after the other. However, I remember looking at the assembly instructions for the Thunderbird 2 partwork (available online in full before the series began); that had things like getting the lower hull assemblies for the small vehicles in issue 3, then the rest of them in issue 5 or 6.

Winner winner chicken dinner. Post finally arrived when I got home today.
Not only that but when I was looking through some drawers I found about 20 pots of paint I haven't touched for ages when I was just about to make a big order.
Woohoo

two up on me then, mine still has yet to arrive and I already knew I had a draw of paints I've not touched in ages, the joys of custom paint mixes and forgetting to label what the hell they are Automatically Appended Next Post: IanVanCheese wrote:So the repulsor is on three sprues and I think that's the biggest kit in there. the cynic in me suggests you will find one of the three issues is out of stock, but they will charge you for and send the other two

For those interested, it looks like issue 18 is more paint, an additional play mat and background on the Silver Templars.
No models in this one.
For those who are not aware, the Silver Templars are described as a new Chapter that will be featured across the Conquest partworks.

The upcoming issues are previewed a month in advance on the Hachette website:
https://hachettepartworks.com/warhammer-40000-conquest?page=2#
Check out what they are and then head to Forbidden Planet to advance order. Issues are £7.49 there.

well its on order as part of the sub, how useful depends what the paints are. hopefully the mat is a bit bigger, the current one is a tad small now. Wondering if part of the premium stuff is these mats on thicker card

Paints are Rakarth Flesh and Mephiston Red I believe. I suspect the playmat is designed to be added to the one from issue 2 to create a double sized playing area.
