I've done some looking around and haven't found an answer yet, but does anyone know the dimensions of the walls for Zone Mortalis? I've found that the floor squares are around 2"x2", but I haven't been able to find the dimensions for the wall pillars that are octagons and the walls that are rectangles . It looks like the octagon pillars fit on the floor squares, but I'm looking for the dimensions of the chamfers. It looks like the rectangle walls are around 2" long, but then they have the same width as the remaining face of the pillars after the chamfers.

Zone Mortalis wall height is deferential to the artist. Typically, the panels I've played on are anywhere between 2"-4" in height. The dimensions you really need to worry about are the hallways (4" wide), small doors (2" wide) and large doors (same as hallways). I'm not exactly certain what a chamfer is, but I suspect its a typo for "chamber". If this is the case, the chambers simply depend on your scenario and how insane you want the game to play out. If you look at the ZM rules, you'll notice that they provide quite a bit of leeway to the players and typically measure everything by 2" intervals, so just to keep it uniform, I would use this template for all of your ZM boards.

Sorry if that was too specific a term.

I'm looking for the dimensions of the 45 degree cut that I see on all the pillar sections. Alternatively, the width of the wall sections.

The floors are actually not 2"x 2" they add up to 300mm which is less than a foot.

well the individual floor tiles anyway. add one side of the grating then you get 2" which is why there is no grating in the center of the boards.

The walls i need to take a look. i got one at home somewhere.

Hopefully these help:

The other critical dimensions are the constrictions - the width of 1 and 2 tile wide corridors and door frames - as these limit the movement of larger models.

A 2-tile wide corridor is 95mm and a 2-tile wide doorway is 70mm wide.

A 1-tile wide corridor is 47mm wide and a 1-tile wide doorway is 25mm wide.
