In a sort of nod to myself, if you were assigning the 18 primarchs an RPG class, what would they be?

Jealous that Horus is Warmaster
|
My take on this:
Fulgrim, Lion, Vulkan and Sanguinus are Paladins.
Lorgar is a Monk.
Roboute, Perturabo, Horus, Ferrus, Mortarion and Rogal are Warriors.
Magnus is a Wizard.
Cruze, Corax and Alpharius are Rogue.
Jagatai and Angron are Barbarians.

Lorgar is definitely a cleric.
I also think Dorn is a Paladin and Fulgrim and the Lion are fighters. The Lion is, first and foremost, a lying, crafty sonofabitch. Fulgrim had no ideals he aspired to other than self-improvement and self-promotion.

Curze is definitely a rogue, in chaotic evil version.
Is there a darker RPG class than rogue?

You can take the assassin prestige class.

here me out, the man was largely a Jack of all trades who was well educated and informed on a breadth of topics. Bard.

I can kind of see Guilliman as a bard. He knows art and has studied pretty much everything. He is obsessed with building culture and planning for the time after war.
Plus, he writes all the time. Literally all the time.
I can see it.

OK, Curze is assain/maybe a few intimidation and brutality perks and skills.
Yeah, Guliman in Di even founds his own, like people who scour universe for Info, maps, history, anything they can find to help shape events that happened.
His private qauters, no one used even though he just shrugs and think chapter master silly for not as perfectly normal lol.
Has a huge towering libiary, books going up many metres with servo skulls type things to collect books out of reach.

Ok, here is my shot:
The Lion: Fighter
Fulgrim: Swashbuckler Rogue
Perturabo: Artificer
Khan: Barbarian with some monk
Russ: Barbarian with a better than average INT
Dorn: Probably paladin
Curze: Assassin
Sanguinius: Paladin
Ferrus Manus: Fighter
Angron: Beserker
Guilliman: Bard (I was originally going to say Warlord from 4th Ed. D&D, but the case for bard won me over)
Mortarion: Fighter
Magnus: Wizard
Horus: Fighter
Lorgar: Cleric
Vulkan: Fighter
Corax: Rogue
Alpharius: Rogue

Shame on you for bringing up 4th Ed. Let that mess die, alone and unloved, as it deserves.
As an aside, thanks to 4th Ed, I resold my 3.5 books for more money than I bought them for when they were new.

Yeah. I know. But it was honestly the class I thought of first.

I don't want to stick strictly to D&D, any RPG system that has a class you think fits the primarchs is fine.
But yeah, there has been a knight class before, I believe.
