As the title says making a list with units that are available to me. I am willing to go out and buy some new units if the changes are definitely worth it. It will just be used for local play. This will be my first list over 1000 points.

I'm not that experienced but if you keep your current list, move one of the Weirdboyz and Stormboyz into an Oitrder detachment for more Command Points.

Maybe give one of the Weirdboyz warpath so you can cast that on a mob of Boyz, then jump them and then 47% chance of getting the 9 inch charge with a mega tonne of attacks turn one.

Not sure how effective the minimum size Stormboyz will be after rokkit pack casualties on turn one plus overwatch....

If you don't take Zagstruk it's better to keep the stormboyz in the same unit.
Deffdread with 2 big shootas is not very good. Very bad point efficiency. But I love the model and usually I use it anyway... but better with 4 klaws

I prefer it with 2 big shootas instead. The dread is a very lackluster model that is likely to be just a bullet magnet and die before reaching combat, unless you field an entire list of walkers. I'd always recommend to keep it as cheap as possible, with the 2 big shootas loadout.
